The award will consist of a cash prize of $150, and a year’s membership to the American
Association of Chemistry Teachers (the newly launched K-12 teachers-oriented organization

award, as well as a $150 donation to the advancement/enhancement of chemistry instruction at the school. The awardee’s name will also go forward to be nominated for the ACS Regional
Award for Excellence in High School Teaching. By this we hope to encourage, inspire and
motivate outstanding chemistry teaching and teachers in Vermont.
Please submit by email to greenmntacs[at]gmail.com, with the subject heading ‘High School
